Enterprise Account Manager

All candidates for these positions must possess the following characteristics:
- Customer-centric attitude whether the customers are external or internal

For open engineering positions, key responsibilities are:
- Perform analysis, design, and development of software applications and components for e-DMZ Security products and internal management systems.
- To follow internal development methodologies and standards where applicable, good coding, documentation, and test practices to ensure that deliverables are efficient, secure, and maintainable.
- Complete work within required schedules, or communicate early in the process why milestones will be unattainable.
- Prepare technical documentation, test cases and/or automation, and training to the quality assurance and support staff for the applications or enhancements that you develop.
- Regularly review existing coding standards and processes and suggest or pioneer enhancements or changes that could improve efficiency or quality within the organization. Be able to accept input to change from any design or code reviews.
- Continually update your skills and knowledge about new and emerging trends, standards, and tools as they relate to development and testing of our products.
- Provide 3rd-level technical support to our customers and partners. When an escalation is required for product-related issues that are beyond the capabilities of the support engineers, perform in-depth troubleshooting, to include simulating the customer's environment, reproducing the issue, determining root-cause, and offering short-term workarounds or fixes to resolve the issue to the customer's expectations.

Senior Software Engineer - GUIs
We are looking for a senior engineer with standards-based GUI design, development, test, and documentation experience who wants to advance their career to the next level.
Background / Experience:
- Bachelor degree in a computer-related field(computer science, programming), plus 5 or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Web development standards and languages
- SQL programming experience
- Use of Subversion or other source control software
- Knowledge of and use of standards based GUI development
- Experience and knowledge of ASP.Net, SQL Server 2008, and C#
- Ability to architectural lead major aspects of the product design
- Knowledge and use of Python and/or Perl would be a plus

Senior Software Engineer - APIs
We are looking for a senior software engineer with experience in Windows internals, API design, development, test, and documentation.
Background / Experience:
- Bachelor degree in a computer-related field(computer science, programming), plus 5 or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Operating systems kernel knowledge and experience
- API development experience including supporting multithreading
- Use of Subversion or other source control software
- Experience with Windows Security APIs

Entry Level Software Engineer

System Support/Development Engineers
We are looking for a engineers who will start out in system support opportunities but through demonstrating initiative and intelligence in dealing with support assignments, will be allowed to move up into development, test or sales positions based on their area of interest.
For open support positions, the key responsibilities are:
- Provide Technical support to our customers, partners, and prospects. Respond to support calls or emails to provide assistance with installation, technical questions, or problem resolution. All questions should have a ticket opened in the CRM system, and should be tracked to completion. In the event that the problem appears product-related or exceeds your level of technical expertise, it should be escalated to an engineer or developer.
- This is a 24x7 function and will require off-hours support through a rotating on-call schedule. If you are on-call, you are responsible to be available and capable to respond within the guidelines of the SLAs published to our customers.
- Install and configure environments containing eDMZ Security products as well as the platforms supported by the product in order to reproduce a customer’s environment. This is used to help diagnose and correct issues for the customer, as well as for test scenarios to be conducted for upcoming releases of the products.
- Ability to perform Webex (or equivalent) presentations or shared sessions to assist the customer, prospect, or partner with problem resolution or training. For frequently asked questions or problems, create recordings or FAQ documents that can be certified and placed in the portal for others to use.
- Participate in pre-sales demonstrations of the product capabilities as a technical resource to sales personnel. Requires in-depth knowledge of e-DMZ Security’s products and the ability to describe the features and capabilities in understandable terms.
- Testing of e-DMZ Security product updates, fixes, and releases. Under general guidance, formulate and perform repeatable and verifiable test plans to ensure complete regression tests are completed against all e-DMZ Security hardware and software products before they are released to customers.
- Review product literature and training materials for technical and grammatical accuracy and clarity.
- Other duties as assigned in support of product development, support, and manufacturing operations.
Background / Experience:
- Bachelor degree in a computer-related field(computer science, programming), plus 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with networking, security, Active Directory and/or LDAP
- Microsoft, networking, or security certifications are desirable
- The ability to quickly learn and retain basic understanding of a wide-range of computer, network, and security hardware and software products
- Strong work ethic, demonstrated commitment, and willingness to work off-hours when required
- Testing background and the ability to script in Perl would be a plus

Enterprise Account Manager
Key responsibilities are:
- Primary focus is to sell and develop business opportunities for our award winning TPAM solution suite
- Must have a strong self-starter motivation and work ethic
- Understand eDMZ Security product differentiators and be able to sell their strengths against competing products.
- Respond to customer requirements, RFIs, and RFPs.
- Present eDMZ solutions and value-proposition at all levels of the enterprise.
- Other duties as assigned in support of product marketing and sales
Background / Experience:
- Must be west coast based
- Proven track record of selling IT and/or IT security solutions
- Solid technical understanding of enterprise IT and IT security infrastructure
- Previous technical background or product support experience would be a plus
